"Just wanted to let you know we've been enjoying our solar system. You didn't mention that watching the collector and tank temperatures changing, and watching for highs and lows, is entertaining!
The issue with our tankless coil not being able to keep up with warming the 47 degree water from the street was negated by the pre-heat of the solar tank, even when the tank was only warming to 70-80 degrees in the less sunny time of year. With the pre-heat the coil can fill the bathtub with hot water without it turning luke warm.
The intellicon seems to be averaging around a 10% savings by its own calculations. We've kept our thermostat at 60 degrees this past winter.

Completed my first month with the Sunpower 205's (solar electric system). The system worked flawlessly and generated 270 kwh's over the 30 day period.
My Skystream came in second with 256 kwh's. Now I am generating well over 50% of the power I am consuming (our hot tub consumes about 1/2 of our demand, too much so perhaps I will turn it off).
